okay so i’m an absolute asshole and haven’t posted about these because i’m 1) lazy and 2) subconsciously trying to keep all 4 copies we have to myself. BUSTED.
Jungbluth is a hardcore/punk band from Munster, DE. They take their name from Karl Jungbluth, German communist and antifascist resistance fighter during World War Two.
this tape was probably one of the best things to happen to me in the last 6 months. over the past few days in particular i’ve listened to it practically non-stop (which probably spurred me into finally writing this post). i don’t really know what to say; OF COURSE i like it. it’s so far up my street it’s practically my house. this self-released 6 track s/t tape starts off slow and dirty and just pummels its way through a mixture of hardcore & punk with nice touches of metal and crust. absolutely great, really well-paced.
a little bird told me to expect an LP by the end of the year….
